How a Striping Job Runs
Site walkthrough
We measure the lot, confirm the existing or new layout, and check stall counts, accessibility, and traffic flow.
Schedule
We coordinate timing with the property — typically after hours or in phases for occupied retail and office lots.
Surface prep
The pavement is cleaned and any debris cleared so paint bonds properly. Fresh sealcoat is ideal but not required.
Stripe & cure
DOT-grade traffic paint is applied with a commercial striper. Lot is back in service in 2-4 hours under normal conditions.
Line Striping FAQs
How long does parking lot striping take to dry?
Standard waterborne traffic paint is dry to the touch in 30-60 minutes and ready for traffic in about 2-4 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. We coordinate timing with property managers so the lot is back in service before the next business day.
Do you do ADA-compliant accessible parking stalls?
Yes. All our striping work meets ADA accessibility standards for accessible-stall widths, access-aisle layout, and accompanying signage. We can re-stripe an existing layout exactly as it was or update the layout to bring older lots into current compliance.
How often should a parking lot be re-striped?
Most commercial lots benefit from re-striping every 2-3 years on heavy-traffic properties, and every 3-5 years on lower-traffic lots. Re-striping is also typically done as part of a sealcoating project, since the sealcoat covers existing lines.
Can you handle large commercial and warehouse properties?
Yes — we routinely handle multi-acre commercial and industrial sites. Large lots are typically striped in sections so portions stay in service while we work, and we stage layout in advance so the new lines are exactly where they need to be.
Do you do specialty markings like fire lanes, loading zones, and arrows?
Yes. Beyond standard stall lines, we paint fire lanes, loading zones, directional arrows, stop bars, crosswalks, no-parking zones, and custom stencils. Materials and reflectivity are matched to local code requirements.
